Space And Time Raises $20M Series A To Drive AI Tool Development In Blockchain Data
At the core of its offerings is Proof of SQL, a technology enabling trustless, verifiable data processing for decentralized applications (dapps).
Space and Time (SxT) Labs, a Los Angeles-based blockchain-native data warehouse, has raised $20 million in Series A funding. This brings the company's total funding to $50 million. The round was led by notable investors such as Framework Ventures, Lightspeed Faction, Arrington Capital, and Hivemind Capital.
SxT's mission is to decentralize the ownership of data that fuels AI-driven applications, aiming to prevent domination by a small number of powerful entities. The company's data network aggregates information from major blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum and integrates off-chain datasets with a zero-knowledge coprocessor for efficient processing at scale. The funds will be used to advance engineering, product development, and community engagement.
The company, which collaborates with Microsoft, plans to tackle infrastructure challenges in decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance by providing AI-powered solutions, positioning itself at the intersection of AI and blockchain innovation.
